Been working on the next big thing for Patina Project, which is an upgrade to the website. We already do have a website, so what’s the problem? There are a few things wrong with it: Google currently can’t crawl and index it. This means that photos and reviews on Patina Project can never be discovered from outside the app. This limits the reach of your content and the potential for more people discovering this community. The URLs are unreadable and long. The current URLs were an old shortcut to get sharing working, and they need to be more human readable to look attractive for sharing and also for Google understand what’s in them. I’m currently working on solutions for both of these problems, which should greatly improve the Patina Project experience and discoverability outside the app.

I want to search boots by the following: * Maker * Model * Leather * Wear time (Requested by user via DM)

It would be nice to be able to block or ignore posts from specific users.

Photo order after upload is random and doesn't currently allow for user input. It would be great to have the ability to customize/reorder our albums according to our preferences.

Currently the cover photo (or thumbnail) for a pair is based on the newest photo. Give folks the option to select the photo they want. This would be the main photo that appears in your collection and search results. Another idea is to allow selecting two cover photos: before and after. These could be shown at the top of an album to provide a visual summary of a pair's evolution.

Heart or a thumbs up.

When dealing with a MTO with a new maker lots of us are flying blind on things like cost, expected wait time, and quality of results other than what we see on IG and low quality sponsored reviews. It'd be nice if we could add things like wait time, cost (maybe as a categorical variable for modesty's sake: sub 4/500, sub 700, 7-8, over a grand), and a "first impressions" review on things other than fit. I know there's the anything else question, but I feel like that's meant more for fit.

The app only allows me to select one photo at a time (Android). It would be nice to have several related photos in one post.

I want to know how much to size down on a particular last so that I can decide whether or not it will fit. I want to see how others sized into a particular last, as well as the store's own sizing recommendation.
